Boracay island - the jewel of Philippine tourism…
Boracay is a small island off of Aklan, where the local native culture mixes with a cosmopolitan social scene of foreign culture, and nightlife. As you arrive you could be fooled that Boracay is still a traditional and native island, but the hidden resorts and restaurants of all global culinary delights are a tell tale sign that not all is what it seems. Since its early native backpacker days back in the 80's Boracay has developed into a small cosmopolitan oasis hidden deep in the Philippines, with a beauty and variety to cater for all desires and imaginations. You can find all accommodation from cheap nipper huts to expensive five star hotels and boutique resorts. There is a high number of foreigners on the island so the needs are catered for with specialty shops for food etc.
Sun worshippers are in heaven with the expanse of white beach or many of the quiet and secluded beaches available. For the more active and adventurous there's diving, kite-boarding, windsurfing, sailing, snorkeling, parascending, horse riding....see the activities page for more.
This unique and cool island has everything to keep everyone satisfied and occupied.
Or simply ……do nothing but bask in the sun and listen to the sea lapping the shore.
One thing for sure it has more holiday flight extensions than most places in the world people simply do not want to leave.
